After years of dedication as an intern in the advertising and communication industries I have developed an interest in cultural and creative industries. I am interested in the SC cultural and creative industries because I know that it is a very in-demand field and I am confident that I have the skillset to be successful in this field. Additionally, I know that the cultural and creative industries is constantly changing and evolving so being able to keep up with current trends is important for me. The majors are the same since I am currently majoring in advertisement and they both relate to advertisement and communication. I think that masters in cultural and creative industries is a great foundation for further study, but it isn’t the only option. Additionally, I want to explore different marketing strategies and learn about different industries.
The cultural and creative industries course program offers a wide range of courses that appeal to me with different interests. It is widely accepted that cultural and creative industries plays a significant role in the economic development of a country. The cultural and creative industries provides employment to a large number of people and also generates revenue for the government through taxes. I am interested in pursuing masters in cultural and creative industries because I believe that I have the necessary skills to excel in this field. In particular, I have experience in creative writing and critical thinking. These skills are essential for the industry, as they allow me to think critically about the messages that I am presented with and to come up with creative solutions to problems. Additionally, I have a strong academic foundation. I have worked in different communication sectors, this background gives me the ability to critically analyze complex issues and to solve problems. I interned with four companies, including 28 Tencent Information Technology and 31 ByteDance Information Technology companies during my advertising program. I learnt a lot from the internship, key among them being teamwork, time management and problem solving. I faced a few difficulties during the internship, but they were all resolved through teamwork and communication. The internship has definitely made me a better student for the cultural and creative industries program because I have learnt how to work well in a team and solve problems.
The career plan in pursuing a career in brand creative marketing and Internet marketing operations is to first complete an advertising program. This program will help to give the basic knowledge and skills needed in order to begin working in this field.
