The media diary shows how I use social media, internet and media at different times of the day from 8th Tuesday to 12th Saturday. There is rich consumption of the media products with everyone having their own motives, (Wulf, 2009)

Daytime
Texts Whatsapp To know what is to be done during the day, alone in the house. And to connect with friends and teachers about the class updates.
Evening
Internet platform Social media Laptop.at home, drinking evening tea, knowing about friends and watching evening news trends and funny clips.
Nighttime
Internet and texts Whatsapp and messaging Taking supper while browsing on smartphone, chatting in the class group and other groups.

Apps Temple run Woke up bored and tired. Using my phone .just escaping from the reality world to the fantasy world of gaming.

Internet Instagram Uploading the pictures I took into my drive Gmail account. Took pictures with friends while arriving at the school. This is to keep memories for future reference.
Evening
Television Evening news Watching news on the TV. To get updated of what happened during the day about politics.
Night time
Movie films
Phone Fast and furious movie
Chatting. Feeling bored and tired from the day’s work. Alone in the room while raining. Following class group chats about the order of the day tomorrow.

Social media Whatsapp ,twitter, Facebook Chatting with dad and mum on whatsapp.to know their wellbeing and am telling them how my day fantastic .In Facebook checking and accepting new friend request for the new students in the school.

Television. Series movie Tired and at home. Trying to free my mind after a hard day’s work by watching the series.

After going through my media dairy for the days above. Most of my time is on social media platforms and the internet. This is because I like current trends and may not want to be left back with the gossip news stories. Am social with friends, I like knowing how my friends are and always like chatting in the group chats. Internet has lots of stuff that relieves that mind. The music and the news .I post a lot of pictures on Facebook and Instagram.
Again, after checks, I have noticed that television is an option when am tired from the phone and the laptop. Television movies I watch are basically the current show trends, award ceremonies, trending videos and news. Television is only watched when tired due to the works on the day, this makes it the option because it involves just watching and enjoying the movies and the news.
In conclusion, my consumption of media is guided by time of day it is and the reason for using the media. Because the interest is available, friends are also available and the current news trends are also cropping each and every time, my consumption of media will continue. The current society is also equipped with all types of media as compared to the past where information would be got from telegrams and the newspaper. But of all the influences, time influences the type of social media that I use. The mornings am connecting with friends, during the day sending and receiving mails, during the night chatting in groups.
